So you got a new bike and you have been looking at new helmets to buy. But wait, looks are not everything. There are a number of other factors that go into selecting and choosing the right helmet for you.

So How to select the right Motorcyle Helmet ?

Head Shape:

No one know what the shape of your head better than you. You might have a round head, Oval head and hell why not, even a triangular head.

Most motorcycle helmet manufacturers design helmets for round/oval head shapes in mind.

If your face is longer than the width of your face, you'll probably need a oval head helmet AND if your face is just as wide as its length, you'll probably need a round head helmet.

Head size:

To measure your head size simply take a tape and hold it around your forehead. The forehead is generally the part of your head with the maximum circumference. Once you have the exact circumference, simply choose the right size of helmet size for you from the following chart.
